Duct Heater
Duct Heater
Duct heaters are apparatuses that heat air without applying pressure by assembling several heating components into a plate or casing. In order to heat air to the desired temperature, the heater bundle is often placed inside an insulated body or duct line. Depending on the application, temperature, etc., duct heater elements can be open coil, tubular, or finned tubular. Duct heater bundles with multiple smaller capacities can be manufactured and put together in series if an application requires a very high heat duty capacity. This will simplify maintenance and save money in addition to helping achieve the ideal temperature under various process circumstances.
Stainless steel, Inconel alloys, and nickel-plated mild steel are commonly used for sheathing with reliable refractory insulation.
