Process Heater
Process Heaters
As the name implies, process heaters are heaters that come into direct touch with the process. Convection or radiant heat transfer is how the heat produced by the heater is delivered to the process fluid in these heaters. The process fluid enters from one end, travels through the heater, and exits from the other end.
Stainless steel, Inconel alloys, and nickel-plated mild steel are commonly used for sheathing. Resistance wires are securely attached to terminal blocks and supported by refractory insulators for reliable performance.
